In October 2024, just before starting the final module of my MSc (Space Science and Technology at the Open University), I decided I was going to write a weekly blog post documenting the process of completing my thesis. Riffing on the space theme, I decided to call the project “Mission Thesis”.
“Weekly” was, of course, far too ambitious. I only ended up writing six posts over approximately ten months, but it was good to get back to writing in a non-professional capacity. I shared the posts on LinkedIn; you should be able to read them below.
- T-minus one week! (26 October 2024)
- Why am I doing this to myself? (2 November 2024)
- How OU study works (23 November 2024)
- Three tips for out-of-this-world objectives (6 February 2025)
- Preparing for re-entry (5 August 2025)
- Mission thesis… accomplished! (15 September 2025)
